Bernard Achampong
Bernard has held senior management positions with the Government of British Columbia the last 13 years, most notably with the Ministries of Housing and Social Development, Children and Family Development, Health and Attorney General. He has served as Executive Director, Policy and Service Reform, Ministry of Attorney General, Court Services Branch since 2016.
Bernard has led initiatives to modernize the court system and improve access to justice for British Columbians. He has had full accountability for business transformation, technology, training, legislation and policy support to front-line Court Services Administration staff and the Judiciary. This experience has contributed to Bernard’s proficiency in establishing high-level strategies and leading large teams in successful implementations. Currently, he is an Executive Director at the Ministry of Health; however, he has been serving as Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Population and Public Health at the Ministry of Health in the last 8 months.
