Learn about the legal issues that may affect you in the workplace at this workshop led by lawyer Trevor Thomas. Trevor will explain the essentials of the Employment Standards Act, the law that sets out minimum standards that every employer and employee must follow. He'll cover employment contracts, the rights of non-unionized employees, and wrongful dismissals.

Trevor Thomas is a lawyer with Kent Employment Law, where he advises employees and employers in the areas of employment, human rights and administrative law. Trevor volunteers his time for a wide range of causes and currently acts as duty counsel with Access Pro Bono BC.
